[WXBH-Discuss] Radio meeting tonight (Wednesday) at 7 at Brick House

We'll resume our weekly meetings tonight (Wednesday) at 7 p.m. at the 
Brick House. (Dress warmly since there's no central heat. i do have a 
propane heater that we can use to warm the studio up to start with but 
it's too noisy to keep on during the meeting.)

Last week, we took turns making playlists and took a quick stab at 
putting them on the scheule.

This week we'll continue making playlists and take a little closer look 
at the schedule, with an eye toward tightening it up a bit.

If we have time, I'd like to train some of you on how to update the web 
site.

We have two new producers, Carl Fulton and Ashley Benningfield, who are 
proposing a late Saturday night live DJ show. Also, Dennis brought in a 
couple of new producers who are planning a hip-hop/rap oriented show.

They reminded me what some of you have been saying all along: that we 
need to formalize our policies and procedures a bit, post them online, 
get written agreements from producers, etc. Also, they are talking about 
approaching underwriters, so, again, we need to get the policies and 
procedures in place.

We need to change our meeting time sometime soon to avoid conflicts with 
the Open Mic show. Is late Sunday afternoon OK with everybody? (That was 
our old meeting time.)

Also, we really need to start holding at least some of our meetings out 
Bardstown Road in our coverage area. Does anyone know of a good meeting 
place near Bardstown and the Watterson? There's the Bon Air Library 
tween Buechel and Hike's Point. Ultimately we need to get out to Fern 
Creek; there's a library and a community center there that may be likely 
candidates.
