[WXBH-Discuss] Radio day schedule

Today is radio day once again! (We keep talking about changing it to 
another day, but as of now it still stands at Wednesday.)

I plan on being at the Brick House by 3:30. You come too!

 From 4 to 5 I will be busy on a conference call, but the BH and radio 
studio will be open. (You might want to be ripping CDs into our music 
library.)

At 5 our open mic night begins in the concert room (broadcast live, of 
course). Bring your instrument and plan on performing. (Or bring your 
speech, announcements, etc.)

At 7 we have our radio meeting. As usual, I don't have an agenda written 
up as of yet, but there is much happening and much to talk about. I 
would like to hold all or part of the meeting in the radio studio to 
give some hands on training on just how our system works. (Come prepared 
to build your own play list from the selections in our music library and 
to schedule it to play on the air.)

Among the things to talk about:
- New programs in the pipeline
- The status of our full power FCC application (hint: so far, so good, 
but much to go!)
- Outreach and underwriting (and bill paying)
- Tech needs (hint: audio engineers and Linux gurus needed)
- Training needs
- The new Community Media Training project (i.e. our "mediaskool")
- Keeping the BH open (and warm) to support all this
