[WXBH-Discuss] Radio Committee's Proposal

To my fellow members of the Brycc House Board:
 
I second John Wilborn's very apt remarks concerning the on-line
discussion of the Radio Committee's proposal and add my heartfelt thanks
to Kim Sorise, Jamie Miller, and Anita Solomon for their sound and
perceptive comments.  
 
I have been very saddened and disappointed for some time now - and have
expressed this in several Board meetings - about the gulf that has
arisen between the "radio people" and others on the Brycc House Board.
I do not understand how so much mistrust and bitterness about the Radio
Committee arose or why it has been allowed to fester, but it is clear to
me that, with last Thursday's meeting, the bitterness is becoming, if
possible, even more acute.  This is a sorry state of affairs for both
the Brycc House and the WXBH project.  All of us are pulling for the
same things - the success of the Brycc House and the success of the
radio project.  To my mind, there is no question that a vote in favor of
the proposal submitted by the Radio Committee is a vote for the success
of both projects and a vote against the proposal is one that will
probably ultimately torpedo both projects.  So to my mind, it's a simple
equation.  Please count my vote FOR the Radio Committee's proposal ...
and for the ultimate success of the Brycc House.
