This is silly. Why would you not attend the Board meeting? That is where the
vote will occur, and you stated in your letter to basic criteria: that
immediate action was needed (thus the need for a meeting) and you trusted
John Hicks to choose the forum for the vote (which is contradicted later in
the letter making the resolution out of order as it is self-contradictory
and cannot be voted by the Board, or the suggestion for an on-line vote was
merely suggestive and not obligatory to the resolution, thus you are out of
order by voting on-line as that is not the forum for the vote). It was not
John's idea to hold the meeting initially; it was mine, after being
solicited for advice by John. I have a position on this whole mess that I
have stated previously, that I will state again at the Board meeting, that I
will not state in this e-mail (in favor of a Hikes Point studio, and by-law
amendments coupled with adequate protection against simple majority votes of
the Board). How can I espouse such a view publicly when the forum is quickly
evaporating? Various board members abscond out of meetings without allowing
due public process, without checking the by-laws before they vote on by-law
changes, without checking their basic obligation to the Board and violating
their membership on the Board in some cases, because they have important
meetings to attend. What is the more important meeting to attend? A radio
"governing board" meeting where you complain about the process of the Brick
House board meeting? If the process really pains you, why not do something
constructive about it, like give coherent, non-personal critiques of the
process and solutions for addressing the problem (such as resolutions about
running the meeting)? There has been a lot of talk thrown out there thus
far, a lot of people trying to win personal feuds through this forum. If
things continue to degenerate into the personal, WXBH will die or hang by a
string for a while and die. If people can put aside their personal issues
(John, John, Mark, Victoria, Aron, Dave, Kristin), not pontificate on the
nature or metaphysics of Board membership, and be selfless for one day (like
attend a meeting and make some effort to compromise between the two
seemingly intractable positions), then perhaps WXBH can move forward? And it
should move forward, as it's a hell of a lot more important than our
feelings.

America when will we end the human war?
Go fuck yourself with your atom bomb.
I don't feel good don't bother me.
I won't write my poem till I'm in my right mind.
America when will you be angelic?
When will you take off your clothes?
When will you look at yourself through the grave?
When will you be worthy of your million Trotskyites?
America why are your libraries full of tears?
America when will you send your eggs to India?
I'm sick of your insane demands.
When can I go into the supermarket and buy what I
need with my good looks?
