At last Thursday evening's board meeting David Morrison, who has made
extraordinary efforts to raise money for the Brick House and who
bitterly opposed the leasing of studio space within the WXBH
listening area, bluntly stated "It's about the money." Mark has done
nothing more than confirm what Dave so candidly said.
John, can you provide us a quote from board meeting minutes,
committee meeting minutes, radio collective minutes, or any other
source in which Mark said he felt the Brick House should be folded
into nothing more than a radio station? Or, are you speaking for him?
With permission?
John, you stated (see below) "In six months time, we've gone from $0
income to $1200 a month." I couldn't help but notice you avoided the
word "recurring" in describing this monthly income. Is it because the
Brick House now has $1200 a month in income that the mortgage payment
is 14 days past due and yet another $50 late fee has been incurred?
Is it because the Brick House now has $1200 a month in income that
MCI cut off the telephone service a couple of weeks ago? Is it
because of this $1200 monthly income that the LG&E service to the
Brick House was cut off in May and the generosity of David Morrison
was required to quickly restore it? However, I must concede you did
not say when this $1200 per month income materialized nor did you say
for how many months the Brick House has enjoyed this income.
Let us now coronate the king of spin.
