Thanks for the clarity at last, Mark. Finally we know how you really
feel about building the Brick House into a viable and valuable public
resource (vs. folding it into nothing more than a radio station). Wish
we had had this conversation earlier ... in place of the ones we did have.

Congratulations are due to fellow board member David Morrison who had
the courage to bring this issue to a head at last week's meeting so the
truth would come out. I was busily scurrying around in the background
trying to placate everyone, keep the plates spinning, the house of cards
standing. Dave felt it was better to call a spade a spade. Dave was
right. I was wrong. Make a note of that, folks, and learn from it as I have.

Let me make it clear that I believe Mark is a good soul who really wants
to do the right thing. He has poured his heart into the radio project
for the last two years, concentrating his efforts on "bringing a voice
to the voiceless," reaching out to communities that have not had a voice
and working with them to produce radio programs. I hope he continues to
be a part of us.

And that's exactly what we are doing. In six months time, we've gone
from $0 income to $1200 a month. We need to double that. But then we've
only just begun.

And so concludes this episode of Brick House Drama.

Thanks, Sandie, for lending us your forum for this little family therapy
session.
