[WXBH-Discuss] Saturday: Reclaim the media: Here

[WXBH]

This Saturday, we're going to be holding a series of media-oriented 
workshops and events at U of L as a memorial to David Sauter, the local 
media activist who died last year.

Here's the most recent flyer for an afternoon of media activism (here)  
this Saturday.  Please distribute widely and make plans to attend:

NOON:  Mia Frederick with Appalshop's Community Correspondents Corps 
will lead an intro workshop/training session for citizen 
journalists-to-be for the Brick House WXBH project.  It'll be a jet 
ride, but deliver a taste of things to come for folks interested in 
their own program on WXBH.
 
2 PM:  Ginny Welsch, director of Radio Free Nashville will lead an FCC 
training session for folks interested in programming on WXBH.
 
4:pm  Panel Discussion with the theme:  Reclaim the Media (see flyer). 
 
Reclaim our democracy(Now!) - take back our airwaves, be the media.
