[WXBH-Discuss] Radio meeting Sunday at 6 at the Brick House

Let's meet Sunday at 6 at the Brick House and discuss the present state 
of affairs. This will be a combined radio board and radio collective 
meeting.

Here's a quick update:

-- I have finally moved the radio computer from the computer room into 
the radio studio. (So we can say that we do have a studio and are using 
it.) There is still much work to be done. Much work.

-- I bought a cheap microphone preamp/mixer so we can do live 
origination from the studio. (I then discovered that we already had a 
microphone mixer. So now we have two.) I have dug up two working mics. 
One is a standard dynamic and the other is a lavalier condenser mic. 
(These are both mine. There are some others lying around but I don't 
know if they work.)

-- We still have poor upload quality. I'm trying to replace and 
reconfigure the ethernet connection in the studio to see if that helps.

-- I finally got a window AC jury-rigged in the radio studio. It's 
underpowered (5000 BTU) and doesn't exactly cool so much as make it less 
hot. Could use a bigger unit.

-- We are continuing to get queries indicating interest in programming. 
Two or three this week.

-- Our bills are starting to accumulate. We owe FC $300 ($100 per month 
for three months) and probably have an Insight bill somewhere for $50 or 
$100. etc. etc.
