[WXBH-Discuss] Gheen's Grant

Well, it's in. I called the Gheen's Foundation to see when the deadline was 
to turn in the application. Expecting a "tomorrow, June 1st" at the very 
least, I instead heard, "today at 4:00".

So, it being 2:50 I left work a few minutes early and rushed home to pull 
together all the materials I had produced a month or so ago for my 
grantmanship class. I think that everything came off looking really good 
considering the serious pinch. I got it all in at 4:05, the Director said he 
was expecting me and was real friendly. So now we just wait to see if we get 
called in for an interview.

As far as the cooling system financing, I had not been able to get a hold of 
Kevin Connelly for advice and so was not able to include it in the budget. I 
think we should definitetly be writing a few grants if we plan to get any, 
so probably a grant specifically for cooling wouldn't be such a bad idea.

PS. John, thanks for clarifying about the FTP idea. It is definitely in its 
infancy stage as an idea and is not an end so much as a possible means to 
moving to another, more western location.
