Hello Friends,
Knowing that there are a lot of you out there who wanted to see the
‘Dissent: Art from the Street’ show in February and March at UofL, but were
unable to fit it into your schedule, I pulled together a Flash animation
album of the show for you. There are about forty shots of installation with
some details of some artwork.

The show was is a collection of work by 13 street artists, 12 regional and
one west coaster. The artists wished to remain anonymous for obvious
reasons, but deserve accolades. Thanks to those of you who sent work, pasted
posters on the wall, wrote on the walls and left comments in the sketchbook.
Thanks to John Begley for the opportunity to pull this show together and for
being patient with my uncertainties. This was an invaluable experience.

Lastly, to everyone else, get out there and put the writing on the wall.
Liberate the City; Cover it in Art. Subvert the mainstream message. It’s
your right to react. Go stencil, glue, paint, paste, tape, draw, write,
stick!

Rise… time is short.
See ya’
Aron

PS. For those in Louisville and have a chance to physically stop by the
Speed Museum, Hallie and I have some pieces in ‘Documenting DISSENT’, a show
that I helped Bill Carner curate (a bit). The exhibit will come down on June
11th. It’s FREE to get into the Museum to see this Show!
