WXBH Meeting Minutes 05-16-06

Financial Report: Stockyards savings - $1,100
Checking - $3,159  $2,900

Fundraising Committee Report: $60 of water sold at the Derby Parade+ 1 tee 
shirt
@ Old Louisville Coffee House: T-shirts + Benefit CD ($98 worth left there)
Volunteer Brent Tinnell took tshirts to gallery hop to sell
Kristen Deposited Check in bank
Radio Paid for April Insurance for Brick House $292
					Phone Bill $130
Kristen has 50 tickets for an event
We need volunteers for the table @ Forecastle Festival July 28th & 29th
Fri. & Sat. Sept. 8 & 9 Middletown Millstone, CDs, T-shirts, food/ drink
Big Lots – Memorial Day Weekend – any group can do bake sales & hotdogs, cds 
t-shirts 	etc.
Comic Store selling Brick Radio Benefit CDs
We will not be doing a booth @ Reggae Fest, but instead we will be passing 
out 	brochures
Bob Peck bought 2 CDs and a T-shirt

The Tech Committee: Going to find a day to meet and catch up: Paul N. Matt 
B. Crag M. Bob R. Bob 	P, Pete A., Aron C.

A little discussion of the web-stream of WXBH with Corey Riley. He said he 
will write some script to make it more secure to use a DSL or Cable.

There has been a surveillance system donated to the Brick House and needs to 
be 	installed
There will be new insulation added above the ceiling this summer, so there 
needs to be consideration of the Radio Station wiring that might be added in 
the building.

What equipment needs to be considered in Radio Station Grants? Is writing 
for an HV/AC system going to be a requirement or and amenity for the 
equipment? Should the grant be a part of the radio budget or should it be a 
separate grant altogether?

We have 2 main focuses at the moment:
1. Bylaws, Brick House Governance and Radio Station Governance
2. Antenna Move.

Website/ email/ Listserv Committee:

Aron and John are working on switching the listserv over to John’s server.
Website is being worked over at this moment.

Outreach Committee: Kristen is going to work on a letter to go out to the 
Advisory Board and will submit it for editing.
We will be trying to set up a meeting with Maddy Jones re: Advisory Board

Other:
Kristen is looking for the Bylaws through Anna or from Sec. of State or 
other means
