[WXBH-Discuss] brickhouse general meeting

hey loyd... i am running this by you and john hicks at the same time
   
  general assembly was discussed and we are working on a survey for collective members... revisions are in the works on the survey if you would like to look it over
  we are also dealing with recovering the email lists received from jamie last week of some 100+ names and addresses... 
   
  if you know of anyone who is willing to show up to meetings then please start to get some consensus on when they feel the best time to meet might be... especially encourage anyone who has been shut out or is interested in the return of collective membership meeting times where they used to be involved or currently meet with their group elsewhere to notify us in writing of their interests and activities as there do seem to be those out there who resorted to this bit of independent organizing and have kept up work... please let them know that they should stop off on tuesday nights or saturdays 
   
  at present i would say that i am looking to brick house to do more than survive given the outreach that has begun with establishing programming for WXBH so that the horrible mess of the brickhouse as a 'hole' evolves beyond that to be a whole group of people identifying with their cooperative abilities... as in the 'w' being put back in the 'work' so that things begin to make sense both as an environment housing our resources as well as an organization planning events of community skills enrichment along with financial benefit through ongoing exposure to non-profit values ... 
   
  maybe we can start with house parties geared to informing people of our recent revision of goals and clarifying our mission as media/arts partners providing training and services such as the library and bike workshops with a need for input as to what hours we should keep at the site.... the primary purpose of having a house party would be to entertain and gather people who might donate funds for renovation and set times when people are available for an ongoing action to rebuild... sound good?
