[WXBH-Discuss] RE: Meeting Last Night

I missed the meeting last night and was not there for various 
personal-to-the-Brick-situation reasons despite the fact that I was doing a 
Music Show with Jamie at 6:00. I asked a couple of people about the meeting 
last night and upon receiving a couple of brief synopsizes, have very 
adverse reactions to the very significant direction that the project is 
moving in. I am unsettled by the recent decisions made in changing the 
structure of the project and sad to find out that there are committees being 
carved out without collective participation (from what I have gathered).

First off, having Kristen as committee liaison, means Kristen will be in the 
mix of everything. That, right off, turns me off from wanting to be involved 
at all. Second off, I am not a “financing-committee” type person, so this is 
not really the place for me. Third, I believe that my strengths and 
interests are clearly in the outreach and PR area, which fell I have made 
clear. I feel as though I am being drawn out of this position without any 
consideration at all for my opinion (also making my efforts to this point 
seem pretty under-appreciated). I have significant media contacts and the 
experience of making an Arts organizations financially successful, 
culturally significant and even legendary. I am friends with and know just 
about every profoundly significant underground band and musician in this 
town and can easily get them interested in participating in this project. I 
believe that I have a pretty clear vision as to how this PR campaign needs 
to be done for WXBH. But I am not comfortable with the way its rolling 
presently.

Months ago and recently I have found it nearly impossible to be able to put 
to good use all my time, effort and talent put into the newly designed 
website, because John H. keeps insisting that it be done in his PHP format. 
I designed it in HTML and in my experience (and opinion), everyone who 
designs strong and easily updatable websites, designs in HTML. It is the 
most useful and universal design language there is. I feel John is being 
overbearing and controlling with his web server.

I am uncomfortable with the recently developed executive committee situation 
and find it very stifling to my ability to be effective and even in feeling 
comfortable in taking any personal ownership in this project.

Kristen is at the LAVA House painting shit on my belongings and painting 
cryptic words like "BE WELL" on the floor in front of my studio. This is 
absolutely insane and makes me not want to be in the same mile as her. 
Kristen you are a fucking nut! Stay out of my way and as I have told you 
repeatedly keep my and Hallie's name out of your fucking mouth. I will never 
again be a part of this project unless she is  100% gone. She's all yours.

I am stepping out of this situation.
