Updated version of brochure:

If it looks the same, erase your cache and/or history in internet options.
BROCHURE: Rather than tailor the statement to fit in the context of this
project, I excluded the mission statement and the rest of the text can be
bigger and more attractive/-ing/-able. I think that will be better anyways
(thanks John). If someone wants to write a short piece to replace the
mission statement that says the same thing, but will not be called "mission
", please help me out.
One technical point/ question.... I was thinking that as the pamphlet opened
up (think journalist's small spiral notebook that flip over the top) that
the first thing that would be seen would be the bottom half and would be the
focus. That was my rational of putting it on the bottom half. Jennifer does
that change your opinion of it or should I still switch it to the top half?
(oh and this thing will be 4.25 X 11.)
Jennifer, at the bottom is the copy from the brochure for editing. You seem
like you'd be good at it
COMPUTERS: Corey, if you want to meet at the Brick House tonight to work on
computers, I can do that. In my studio I dug up a Dell Pentium III machine
that has a sound card, a RCA YRB Video out, 256 meg of RAM and a small 10Gig
hard drive. I bought it a few months ago with a 21 inch monitor for $10 at
St. Joes Bargain Barn. i forgot I had it. It can go in the office with
whatever we want to add into it. Sorry i am keeping the 21 inch monitor
though. I'll call you in a bit if I can dig your number up out of my messy
area here.
MISSION: Look, all I am saying is that a mission statement is very important
to be consistent with. There is no issue beyond that. I can't (or know its
inappropriate to) on a whim change the mission statement to be what it seems
like it should be for the moment. I am in a masters program in museum
studies and this point has been beaten into my brain. It is the single most
important little piece of information that an organization can have and
constantly come back to. The point of my last email was that there needs to
be a serious discussion of this mission statement when we can all sit around
a table and do it. So lets do it soon. At the same time then maybe we can
come up with some other plug and play statements about WXBH that can be
easily dropped into literature, websites, emails, etc. I don't like having
to come back to the drawing board every time I design something.
Corey i apologize for making you feel as though I am bitterly rejecting your
ideas. I was debating a point that i should have left alone for a different
time, when we can have that discussion as a group. No, this is not MY
brochure, but I am being faced with complications in working out OUR flyer.
Again I apologize for dragging this out. Let's be friends.
Kindly, Aron
COPY: that I did in mediocre quality, please feel free to embellish,
improve and send back for the brochure. Please try to stick to the same
amount of words. Thank you.
SPEAK FOR YOURSELF! WE WANT YOU!!!
WXBH is requesting submissions for pilot radio shows and programming.
Imaginative offerings in all genres are sought: news, documentary, drama,
comedy, childrens programming, and music of all kinds. Once reviewed by the
WXBH programming committee, your show will be added to the WXBH Radio Stream
and played through this early stage of the station until we receive more
shows.
If you are interested in being on the radio, complete our online program
proposal form and submit it immediately for consideration. Create your show,
free of obscene language and content (or else it wont be heard). Edit it on
a computer (yours or ours) using free software Audacity (linked at our
site), and once completed, bring it in for us to air. Details and more
information: WXBH.org
Get involved! Your show will make WXBH a success locally and
internationally.
DEADLINE: JULY 31, 2006
