Hi John (and all),
Maybe you didn't get my post in early June. This was done by a
broadcast engineering consultant. I am pretty sure that the 5.6 km
relocation rule is superceded by the fact that we will be in an
adjacent commercial stations coverage path. That stuff might have
worked in Nashville, but then again, it didn't because they are in big
trouble with the FCC about where they put their transmitter. Their
fines are quite steep.
We now have less than 3 months to be on the air or the FCC will take
the license away. We can't broadcast until we pass an inspection (or
at least file for one). To me, that means we should have the
installation up and be ready to be turned on by the end of this month.
It doesn't look as though anyone has a clue as to where the
transmitter/antenna will be located. This is not the time for moving
to monthly meetings - to meet the deadlines at this point heavy
progress needs to be made on a daily basis!
I have attached the coverage pattern file. I have never heard of that
type of file but it opens on my computer.

Subject: Re: FW: more LPFM questions
This LPFM can be moved to the southeast only. It has to observe the
mileage restriction to WTFX-FM Clarksville and WJCP-FM at Austin (see
the attached map).
Radio Free Nashville made a very serious and costly mistake, not
shown on the video I suspect. They misread the GPS receiver and did
not correct for the NAD27 coordinates expected by the FCC.
There are no provisions in the LPFM rules on antenna structure
mounts.
